Next Chapter

Hello everyone, it’s been awhile since I updated so I just thought I’d do one now. Apologies for taking this long. 

Basically, because this game was made on Kocho and been developed on there, it was basically the easy way to do things. I’ve been planning and working on Chapter 1 and 2 for a while before realising that saves do not carry on when using the Kocho app. 

I don’t want all the alternative scenarios, dialogues and possibilities I have planned on using going to waste and having just a linear storyline. This might force a switch to Ren’py altogether or I could utilise an idea I had to make you remember the choices you did and progress through a mini recap of each Chapter before a new one begins. 

This dilemma is because the game might be getting put onto Kocho and if I do use Ren’py those that download off of Kocho might have issues. 

I am an amateur at using code. I don’t know enough about it yet. There was a recommendation to use screenshots from Kocho and run it through Ren’py that way so I will be attempting that seriously very soon. 

If anybody has any other advice then please, do not hesitate to let me know. 

I want to go an extra gear higher than what I have already done for all those people that have downloaded and shown their support. 

These past 4 months since the game has been released, I believe I have gotten new ideas and have gotten better myself. 

So I wanna keep rolling! 

Thanks to all of you. I’ll find a solution to this and give an estimated date of when the new Chapter will be released. There might be added help in regards to CG and OST’s so next Chapter might not be all of my own work.
